Overall: 5 stars
Lyrics: 5 stars
Music: 5 stars

“Sometimes its way quiet and you are like WOW I cant believe a dude can make the quietness so LOUD! Other times it’s NOT!”

Pros: The guy is a PRO, you cant even tell that he had a embarrassing stomach ache that made him stand far away from everybody else for safety.
Cons: He made a record just standing out there in front of a bunch of people and that takes a bunch of trouble to get it right, but he DID IT!

Look, you might know this fellow by one of his many nicknames: The Blues Troll, The Grouchy Elf, The Yelling Cowboy, Aqua Man, The Picnic Ape—whatever name he goes by, you gotta admit one thing clearly, he is still called VAN THE MAIN MAN because of he had made a record like this one is. This guy has made ton’s of recordings filled with the biggest hit songs of all times, GREEN EYED LADY, MOONSTRUCK, GLOSS MY KIDNEYS, BOOGIE WITH STU and REVENGE OF THE NERDS THEME SONG. But so like how can the guy just keep making the great music time after time again all through the years starting before probably any of us were born and then just keeping on all time till now?

Youre RIGHT, I don’t know either, but look at this he made this one! The crowd is all there sitting in a chair waiting for the The Goblin of Soul Music (nickname also) to take the stage—one two three four here he comes BOOM, it was like solid gold rock music MAGIC. Good thing the guy with the tapes woke up in time to press PLAY and RECORD at the same time….because here is the proof that rock music is a example of good times no matter how you slice it.

Just look at this potent carving station of steaming hit songs all from one night in the crumbling band shell by the dangerous expressway: VARIATIONS ON A THEM, IT’S A MARVELOUS NIGHT FOR A SQUARE DANCE, BAKERSFIELD BOOGIE, THANK GOODNESS IT’S FRIDAY, ODE TO THE AMERICAN BISON PARTS I-VII, ELECTRIC NEON BOOGIE DANCE PARTY, BLUES JAM WITH DON DOKKEN, BLUES JAM WITH DON DOKKEN AND BUN E. CARLOS, YE OLDE FIFE AND TANKARD, STRAP ON THE JAMMY PAC and the most colorful explosion of seriously good times that I have bean hearing on a LP since they first came out, AMBLING BLINDLY TOWARDS THE END OF ANOTHER CONTRACT.

If you dont believe in magic or need proof of how magic is possible and can work in many modern situations, than get yourself to a place where it will be possible to BUY this great recorded sitatuation where from there is magic and music together at the same time from a teriffic little musical hot head, THE MAIN MAN!
