I disagree, Mr. Evening. Van is important and should be discussed as such, with reverence and a basic understanding of his legacy and his contributions to music over the passed 40 plus years. To simply dismiss him on a borderline slanderous manner makes me disgusted that anyone is allowed to create a website and can just based it on mis-information, no knowledge, refusal to understand basic musical principles despite there enthusiasms or even rating the album at five stars which it clearly deserves with or without this so called review. Sad, but that’s the country we’re living in. Thanks, Thomas. I’m with YOU.

Uh, interesting review of one of the all time great artists reviving and renewing one of his most classic albums.

Van is THE man. Bryan Evening? Not so much. No offense intended.

Is this an April Fools Day joke? This is a wonderful CD – every Van Morrison fan will love this. It’s a worthy followup to the original, which is still one of the most influential and beautiful records ever made.

Oh for crying out loud! I am sick and tired of these half-assed reviews. Give this guy any of the pablum that passes for pop music and he will lap it up like a starving wolf in front of a bowl of milk. If there is a God he will descend from on high and smite Bryan Evening… smite him into paste.
